Rooted in innovation, growing the future—one plant at a time.
Micro Paradox is a wholesale plant producer specializing in tissue culture propagation, providing clean, high-quality nursery stock to commercial nurseries. Founded in 2010 by Dr. Parm Randhawa, we began with a mission to meet California’s demand for clonal walnut rootstock. Over the years, we’ve grown into a trusted partner in the commercial farming industry, known for our commitment to quality and innovation.
Our state-of-the-art tissue culture laboratory, combined with the expertise of our dedicated team members, enables us to meet the ever-evolving needs of the industry with precision. Building on our success with clonal rootstock, we’ve expanded our offerings to include a diverse range of young plant products tailored to growers’ needs.
With a passion for R&D, our team excels in propagating challenging species and scaling them for full production. As a regional leader in plant propagation on the West Coast, we’re proud to support our customers with unique, high-quality plants that help them grow and thrive.
Our infrastructure is designed to support the propagation process from start to finish. We operate a 20,000 square foot laboratory equipped with the latest technology, as well as two acclimatization greenhouses, each exceeding 60,000 square feet. This expansive setup allows us to propagate, acclimatize, and grow plants in a controlled, optimized environment, ensuring strong, clean plants for our customers.
Micro Paradox is proud to be recognized as a Pest Free Place of Production by the European Union, demonstrating our commitment to maintaining a clean and pest-free growing environment. We have also earned accreditation from SAG, the Chilean Agriculture Agency, as a Clean Plant Center, allowing certain products to bypass post-entry quarantine—a significant advantage for international clients who depend on efficient and reliable plant material.
As a certified Snail-Free Nursery, we take every precaution to prevent pests from entering our facility, ensuring that all plant material meets rigorous health standards. Our proactive approach to pest management and clean plant production is further strengthened by our close partnership with CSP Labs.
Located on the same campus as Micro Paradox, CSP Labs provides critical testing services for all plant material we propagate. This close relationship gives us a distinct edge in ensuring that every plant we handle is pathogen-free and meets phytosanitary standards. Whether we are conducting routine health screenings or specialized testing for international export, our ability to leverage CSP Labs reinforces our role as a clean plant hub in California.
At Micro Paradox, we serve as a trusted partner for commercial nurseries, providing reliable, clean nursery stock that meets the strictest phytosanitary requirements. Our goal is simple: to help our clients succeed by offering high-quality, disease-free plants that support the growth and success of their businesses.
Our facilities and partnerships make us a leader in the industry, and our focus on hard-to-propagate species sets us apart. By combining our state-of-the-art lab, expansive greenhouses, and access to CSP Labs, we offer unmatched expertise in delivering clean, healthy plants to markets around the world.
